The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
Marigold petals. Scoop of cut and dried marigold petals (Calendula officinalis). Infusions of these petals are used in herbal medicine for treating wounds, as they reduce pain and have a mild anti- inflammatory effect. They are also applied to bee or wasp stings. Drinking an infusion of marigold flowers helps to reduce a high temperature, as it promotes perspiration.
